Weekly News:

Good morning!
Another 1 1/2 inches of rain this week, had to go the long way to Marble Falls due to high water at the creek crossings,
The most amusing thing to happen was picking carrots yesterday,   After pulling them out of the ground, the hole left behind
would fill with water,  Please give everything an extra rinse to get rid of the extra grit that this type of weather causes.
It was so nice to see the sun yesterday afternoon.  From about 2 til 4 it was just about perfect outside,  Of course the weather
service is all ready talking about the next two rain makers headed this way,  Our window for planting potatoes is about to
close.  With the fields sitting at the saturation point I don't see them drying out enough to plant for at least 2 weeks and that's
without any additional rain.
Hope to put the finishing touches on Sarah's kitchen this coming week and get that project over with and kitchen up and
running again,   Slowly getting the greenhouse filled with plants, the new heater is working wonderfully.  Getting some
sunshine hots the place up and helps to stimulate the struggling little plants,   Just need a steady dose of it to help
everything dry out,
We're going to give a talk on organic gardening and farming at the Trinity Episopal Church in Marble Falls this coming
Thursday at 5:30pm.  The church is located a few blocks east of 281 on 1431,

Thanks for your support,
Gary & Sarah
