Weekly Farm News:
Good morning,
Spring is breaking out all over and will be one of
the prettiest for wildflowers in years,
We're hoping that's going to translate into to a
great growing season this year,
It's been a while since we've had a good year,
That being said this is the latest
ever for asparagus and strawberries, We're
usually in full swing on asparagus
by the end of March. These cold nights and
cold soil temperature are holding it back.
It's like waiting for water to boil when you're
watching the pot, just seems to take forever,
Today is the Lawn and Garden Show in Burnet so
Sarah and I will both be there,
It's a lot of extra work to do but it's really fun
and it does mark that spring is here and
time to plant beans, tomatoes, squash and
cucumbers. So busy times ahead,
Thanks for your support,
Gary & Sarah
