Weekly Farm News:
Good morning,
The big news for the Sunset Valley people is I'll
be there as usual today,
The market has split and some of the folks have
gone to Barton creek mall
with the prior management, We decided to
place our loyalty with the customers
and will continue at the old location with
hopefully a more professional
group attending to the details of getting along
with the city and school district.
Due to legal issues we'll set up on Pillow Road
which is on the east side of
the parking lot, As I'm writing this the
front has just roared through and should
make for a hellish day to be outside,
Everything is growing well, the lettuce is
loving it. There are miniature cabbages in
the box today. They never got over
the cold in January but are sweet and tasty.
The greenhouse is busting at the seams and we've
even got plants setting outside
to make room, with lots more to seed up
and get going,
Its been a fun week with Dorothy home from school.
She had to go back Thursday
to go sailing on the Elissa, which is the tall
ship at fisherman's wharf in Galveston.
Thanks for your support,
Gary & Sarah
