Weekly Farm News:
Good morning,
We had our best Lawn and Garden show ever. The
asparagus has gone wild so
enjoy! Lettuce, particularly the Romaine is
spectacular. Picked the first two pints
of Strawberries yesterday and they're blooming and
looking really good, so peak
for them is about a month away, Last year we
started picking in February.
Transplanted the last of the lettuce
this week and will now turn our attention on to
getting the tomatoes, squash and cucumbers set
out, Looks like the last of the
cold weather is behind us and spring is here
in earnest, Dorothy is home for Easter
and will do the Sunset Valley Farmers Market today
while Sarah and I will go try out
the new market in Cedar Park, Should be
interesting, Last week was the opening
and they counted 3000 people coming through.
The Bluebonnets are about a week away from peaking
and the other wildflowers
are covering the countryside, most beautiful
spring we've had in years, And
The peach crop in Fredericksburg is looking to be
the best in years.
Thanks for your support,
Gary & Sarah
